    firefox ignoring css print color

    I've created a print css file with:
    body {
    color: black;
    background-color: white;
    }

    The screen one has:
    body {
    color: #cccccc;
    background-color: #000000;
    }

    Using firefox (works fine in IE), the printing with background turned on, firefox ignores the css text color change (uses background color). If I turn background off, then it all looks just fine. Any ideas?

    Hmm what would happen if you did this instead
    Code:
    html, body {
    color: black;
    background-color: white;
    }
    or just set the background to none. Most users would print on white paper. Many users have no idea how to even turn on background colors in print.

    just tried that (both), neither work. The only way I can get the text to show during printing (with background turned on) is to remove the color from the "screen" css file.
