    Links working in IE but not Firefox

    This is one of those cases of, it was working when I went to bed - but now it isn't???

    http://www.goto-league.com/system/in...=showT&tjump=7

    That's where the problem is.. the third menu in the lighter shade:
    * Details
    * Registered Teams
    * Standings
    * Register/Withdraw
    * Administrate

    The Details link works only if I put my mouse over the "D" - all the other links don't work.

    It's under the DIV "submenu2"

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Doctype

    You might want to reconsider that doctype; I ran it through the validator and it doesn't even come near validating as XHTML 1.1.
    What I was looking for however was structural errors; amidst the tidal wave of errors and warnings concerning your crufted URLs, way down at the bottom I ran into some unclosed or improperly nested elements; you might want to look into that.

    Other then that, I didn't really find any causes; then again, I only have IE6.0/win2k available at the moment and this displays it fine.
    Regards,
    Ronald.

    quote marks?

    That is really strange:

    Submenu - where you have ommited to put quotation marks around your href values - seems to work...

    Submenu2 - with the quotation marks, doesn't!?

    I'd follow Ronald's advice (who wouldn't ) and change the 1.1 doctype declaration - it's pointless serving it as text/html and without the xml prologue anyway.

    Then I'd make sure all your a href values are enclosed with " marks, and see if that works?

    Kind regards,

    Gary

    The page in question: http://www.goto-league.com/system/in...=showT&tjump=7 has been corrected to be XHTML and CSS validated, yet the same error as mentioned in my original post in Firefox but not IE - which ofcourse means IE is allowing my links to work when they shouldn't but I do not know what it is that is causing the problem...

    Also.. on this particular page you will see the Tournament Details table in the middle of the page in IE but on Firefox it sits to the left.. again I cannot seem to work out why...

    Any help appreciated!

    You have things overlapping each other. You will be able to see that for yourself if you get the Web Developer extension found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/60/
    Then once installed right click, go to web developer, outline, block level elements, you will see the borders overlapping each other, particularly your h2 elements. Most of this debugging can be done your self, you just need the right tools. As for the table, its a block level element. IE is getting it wrong. It shouldn't be centered because you need margin:auto; applied to that table not text-align:center;
    Code:
    td.middle table {
    	margin:auto;
    }
