    Question CSS & Input elements

    Try as I might, I can't get any CSS (externally linked) applied to my form elements.
    Could anyone point me to a solution (eg to create borderless text input fields)?

    Hi, here's some style to experiment with:

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    input, textarea {
    margin:1px;
    border:none; //or try: 1px solid #000;
    background:#fffff0;
    color:#000;
    }
    select {
    border:1px solid #000;
    }
    input:focus {
    background:#cf3;
    color:#000;
    }
    input:focus:hover {
    background:#ff3;
    color:#000;
    }
    -->
    </style>

    Thanks! But...

    Hey, this already looks great, thanks

    One thing though: this works pico bello in IE, but I see no changes in Opera. Any idea why?

    externally linked css page
    first you have to add this tag in your <head></head> section
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="file.css">

    then you can play around with the tags that MCookie displayed
    remember tho when using an external sheet you do not use the <style></style> tags
