    formatting link titles

    quick question:

what amount of formatting can I apply to a link title?

I know I can slip in <br> to make the title 2-lined... how would I go about putting two divs in a <title>?

i ask because i am using a script that takes the image title and displays it specially but i need some info on the right, and some on the left on the same line

title as in title="blah or as in <title>blah</title> either way both are limited as title="blah" can only have text in it and <title>blah</title> can only be one line. If its the title="blah" then you can make your own tooltips. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tmltooltip.htm
A similar effect can be done with HTML/CSS.

title="blah\nblah" will split it over two lines in most browsers.

Odd that "most browsers" don't seem to include Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Opera.
