    Vertical align input text?

    While there appears to be ample head room, the text in
    my input boxes is cut off at the bottom of the field (g,y,j etc)
    How does one control vertical alignment of input text?

    My inputs are defined as follows:

    form {
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    }

    input, select {
    height:14px;
    font-family: sans-serif;
    font-size: 10px;
    background:#fff;
    border:1px solid #bbb;
    }

    Okay, nevermind! Though I have found no reference to this anywhere,
    "text-align:top" does work in IE6 which is all that matters for my purposes.

    Thanks anyway!

    "top" is not a valid value for the text-align property. Try using the vertical-align property.
