    Line spacing question

    Hi friends:
    Is there a way to reduce the height of lines of text without covering up the lines above?
    I tried:

    <style>
    P{line-height: 25pt}
    </style>

    but all this does is cover up the bottom half of each line of text. I'm trying to avoid having to use the vertical scroll bar on the opening page of our web site.
    In a desktop program like Pagemaker this would be akin to reducing the leading.
    Any ideas?

    I think it works on percentage...so try line-height: .75
    Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.
    <body onUnload="flush( ! )">

    I tried that but it didn't work. It still cuts off the bottom of the line above. I may have to find a work-around. Thanks, though.

    Hi Laura,
    try setting a unit behind your value..
    This is default line spacing using percentage: font-size:12px;line-height:100%; To decrease, try 80 or 90%. Should work.

    ...or if you're using heading style tags, like <h1>, <h2>, change these to <p>, or absolute sizes.
    <H > tags will leave a line on top and bottom by default.

    Try a smaller or non-existant margin:

    Code:
    <style>
    P{margin: 0px;}
    </style>

    Could you not make your text smaller?
