    Folder Permission help?

I have this image upload hosting script and the problems is that everyone can see the directory where the images are uploaded, how do I set the permission so they can't see the directory but can still view the uploaded images?

Have you ever chmodded a file before? There may be an easier way but If you just go in to your ftp account, and right click the directory file that you want to change the permissions for and click properties - you can set it from there.

    Hope that helps,

The method depends on your hosting.

If you have a Control Panel then whether it's Windows or other it should support protected folders and there should be a section where you can add them.

If you don't have a Control Panel then if your are on Apache hosting and if you can add .htaccess files/commands then you can do it that way.
