    wma is an audio file not video file. What browser are you trying it in? Try this
    Code:
    <object width="650" height="500"
          classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
          codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701"
          standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">
          <param name="url" value="Laylas%20Thing_0001.wma">
          <param name="uiMode" value="full">
          <param name="autoStart" value="true">
          <param name="loop" value="true">
          <embed type="application/x-mplayer2"
          pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/"
          showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="650" height="500"
          src="Laylas%20Thing_0001.wma" autostart="1" loop="true">
    </object>

    Okay that means the wma file isn't where you say it is. According to your code the wma file should be in the same spot as the html file.

    Can you take a screen shot of the folder you have your html and video in? Then attach it to a post using the manage attachments button?

    Well I don't see a song or video called Laylas Thing
    Try this
    Code:
    <object width="650" height="500"
          classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
          codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701"
          standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">
          <param name="url" value="Layla1.wmv">
          <param name="uiMode" value="full">
          <param name="autoStart" value="true">
          <param name="loop" value="true">
          <embed type="application/x-mplayer2"
          pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/"
          showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="650" height="500"
          src="Layla1.wmv" autostart="1" loop="true">
    </object>
    If that doesn't work go through these steps for me.
    Tools menu | Folder Options | View Tab | Find where it says "Hide extensions for known file types | Uncheck that box

    file names are case sensitive, you named it to Layla1 not layla1
