    um.... you mean using capital letters?
    Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes :)

    Just using HTML:

    Code:
    <head>
        ...
        <link rel="shortcut icon" href="yourImage.ico" />
        ...
    </head>
    if you haven't got any icon with .ico extension, you can also use gifs.
    Watch out: it seems to work on Netscape, Opera and Mozilla Firefox, no chance on M$IE. I don't remember about Konqueror...

    There's another way: placing the "famous" favicon.ico into your website root (I never used it actually, I don't know exactly how to make it work so I prefer don't giving silly advice).

    I hope my post's been useful somehow!

    Here check this out... makes a favicon based on any image you upload... cool tool.

    I know I had like a 3-4 day gap from when I uploaded mine until it finally appeared in IE.

    Probably needed to refresh the page in your cache or delete temporary files (I've noticed Favicons in favourites seem to disappear after a while until you delete temp files).

    thaks for all ur replays, but all i needed was
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >
    i figured it would use a "windows icon file" , and the good thing about that is i learned how to make those long ago when i took VB6 in highschool
