    CSS Font Size?

I have developed some web pages using style sheets. Today someone tried to load the web pages on their system. I am running Windows 2000, and they are running Windows XP. The font size is different on the web pages. When I change the font size from 10 to 8 in CSS, the font size seems to match between the two computers. I thought CSS was used to keep font sizes the same. Is 10 point font size different between XP and NT?

It could be due to the fact they have the font size in their browser set differently? (View>Text Size, in IE).

I gather you are using pt to specify the size? Perhaps you should consider using em's or x-small/small/large etc?
