    changing the background color behind the bullets?

    Hello. i have the following screenshot:

    Do you know how I can make it so that the background goes under the bullet?

    code: -- the stylings are in an external stylesheet.

    By default, bullets are placed outside the list items (sort of guessing here). If so, you have to use "list-style:inside;" on the ul in your css.

    And maybe you have to adjust the margins and paddings for the ul and li's.
