    building framework howto

I need to use my wp blog with php template but I'm quite lost how can I get the blog into the php template. I can't use iframes
so I'd need to build somekind of frames which can read the height of the content which it loads. For example if I want to view all blog entries the height should 'bout 1000 and if single post 200px. SOooo..

    Frame?

I'm afraid your request needs to be formulated slightly... no, a lot more clearly.

So, presumably, you have a blog running on WordPress. WordPress has it's own templating system, which however doesn't mean that it can't be integrated into an existing site; there are even people advocating its use as a more general CMS instead of just a blogging tool.

Anyway: you have an existing site, resumably using some sort of PHP driven templating system as well, and you want to integrate the two; why not try to "tack on" WP to your site, aligning the look-n-feel via styling and -where needed- template customisation?

Can you possibly give more information about how your other site is implemented, what it looks like, and where the blogging section needs to fit in in the whole?

Hi, Yep I'm using php based ecommerce system which I'd need to load my wp content in. Basicly only idea I have in mind is iframe but that's not propably the best option for it. And the problem with iframe is that you have to basicly adjust the height as far as I know height="100%" iframes aren't possible?

The problem with "tacking on" my wp into that template is that I don't have any ideas how can I load the wp in it. I only know how to use frames or iframes, so Id need some new hints. I can somehow join wp and my php shop's css and customise some with divs but still I remain with the problem how to load wp code into the php template?

    More info

If anyone is to say anything conclusive about that they will need more information about how the other system is constructed. I really see nothing good coming from your "sticking WP in a frame somehow" line of thought, but if the e-commerce system is a commercial one you may have no access to the templates at all.

Can't you simply link from the e-commerce menu somehow to the blog section (and from the blog back to the e-commerce section)? I've seen many examples of WP blogs integrated in not-solely-blogging sites like that, residing under a common start page with other non-WP site sections.
