    url of a page in a site built with frames

    I built a site using frames. If my employer wants to send out emails directing people to a specific page which is not the homepage, how can we do that, and still get the whole frameset, including the logo on the top and the navigation bar on the left.
    The homepage is www.devorapublishing.com and the particular page we may want to direct people to is http://www.devorapublishing.com/Wpag...Heaven3109.htm

    Just make a new page with the frameset below. Add your link you want to send out to the "mainFrame". Or am I missing something?

    <frameset rows="*" cols="197,586*" frameborder="NO" border="0" framespacing="0" bgcolor="#FFEBD7">
    <frame name="leftFrame" bgcolor="#FFEBD7" noresize src="http://www.devorapublishing.com/navigationbar.htm">
    <frameset rows="112,342*" frameborder="NO" border="0" framespacing="0" cols="*">
    <frame name="topFrame" bgcolor="#FFEBD7" noresize scrolling="NO" src="http://www.devorapublishing.com/logo.htm">
    <frame name="mainFrame" bgcolor="#FFEBD7" src="http://www.devorapublishing.com/Wpages/Bookspecific/Heaven3109.htm">
    </frameset>
    </frameset>

    url of a page in a site built with frames

    Pooh, your suggestion is probably is the easiest one. But this means that everytime my employer wants to direct people to a certain page on the site, he'll have to conact me and I'll have to create a special frameset just for that page, upload it, and get back to him with the name. Unless I design all those special frameset pages ahead of time and give him a list of all the urls that he would ever want to direct people to.

    tess, i wrote the following script, which Mr. J linked to before. what it does, is check to see if the content page is inside the frameset. if it isn't, then it copies the address of the content page, redirects to the to frameset page, and tells the frameset to load the content page into the frames.
