    Tables and horizontal scroll...

So I posted a bit ago about my project for the other guy I work with who knows no CSS. He won't let me use any CSS on this little project and I'm leaving in five days now. So basically I don't like making the site like this and don't feel comfortable, but that's life. Here's what I've got so far.

Now my issue is that in 800x600 it is giving a horizontal scroll despite not being over 700px wide. I am unsure why this is but figure it might have something to do with the nested table percentages. Anyway, if someone could make a suggestion as to why the hell this is happening it'd be good. heh. Thanks. (didn't include the source because it's all right there)

the whole main table cannot be less than 800px because you have 2x 'invisisides' which are 20px each and an invisispace which is 760px.
Get rid of the inivispace and your problem is solved (or crop it)

Haha, sorry this is why table design bugs me. See the banner was originally 760px wide and so when I made the spacer gif I made it the same width. When I resized the banner I forgot the spacer was the same. That would be what is forcing the table wider.

Problem solved, thanks. I hate stupid over-sights like that but I couldn't remember what order I had done the images in so I assumed the spacer was like smaller.
