Question Can i do this without frames?

I have worked on a site before that used frames. This site is the site for uk distribution of certain products and they would open relevant pages from the products home sites within the frame set. They would like me to redesign the site but without frames (hooray) however they would still like to be able to open pages from other sites within their pages. Is this possible without using frames ?

    i don't think so.

if you mean that they want to display other sites while still having links or a menu for their own site on the same page, then i'd say no. i've been working with [x]html+css for years now and i haven't come across anything that would do that (other than frames).

imho, you should convince them to just link to external sites (maybe set target="_blank").
it's funny because it's true -homer simpson
