    Can you link us to the background image? When you say title is on the image, you mean the title is on the actual background image, not a seperate image in its own?

    Yeah, basically is there a single conceivable reason not to have any title/body images seperate from the background?

    hmm yeha the heading title is stuck on the background. i could just edit the picture to split them, but then for some reason i cannot make the background FIXED, it never fixes even when i put the fixed background code.

    i was thinking just make the body part keep going infinite as long as there is text or something to add to the body.

    I'm confused - in your first post you said you want the background to be scrollable, and then you say you want it to be fixed. Exactly what do you mean by scrollable anyway? Do you mean tiled so that the background image is repeated for as long as the page extends?

    Is your problem that the title of the page integrates with the background, and that if you then scroll the two become disjointed? In this case, I would suggest you look into transparency (a treacherous quagmire) or better yet consider a redesign.

    If you are having this problem it would imply a complicated background image, which there is rarely justification for. The best background images are stylish yet unobtrusive tiled 1 pixel high graphics.

    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    body {
    background-attachment:fixed;
    }
    </style>
    That goes in your head tags, should make your background fixed.

    nevermind all that. now i just need a code that puts an image that aligns at the very top-left of the page without any spacing that seperates the corner and the picture. anyone know how to put a picture at a certain position on the screen?

    because when i just use <im src="pic.jpg"> it doesnt align all the way to the top left corner, it has some spacing from the top, and left side.

    example here

    maybe using the x/y positioning way? it should tile correctly if the image that is selected (circled) is aligned all the way to the top left corner.

    if the image is the first item on the page it should be in the top left hand corner by default. It looks like you haven't declared the margin and padding of the body to be 0.
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    html,body {
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    }
    </style>
