    Having trouble resizing windows with CSS

    Having trouble resizing windows so that all boxes and webpage contents resize with the window, what would be the CSS code I am missing?

    css for this is above address + /css/contents.css

    any ideas are very much appriciated.

    You would more than likely based on your layout have to lose the absolute positioning. Its almost never necessary to use absolute positioning in a layout unless you are going for a 'layered' effect.

    Would this mean repositioning all the floating boxes below the middle section?

    More than likely see thing is, you can't float an absolutely positioned element, ones its absolutely positioned, thats it, it stays where you tell it to stay, the float will no longer work, and items around it ignore it so it thinks that it doesn't even exist. Absolute positioning takes elements out of the original flow of the document.

    I'll try with the z-index and see if that suits, and repos with out absolutes.
