Problem with an sample from "The Layout Reservoir" in IE

I use the right menu two column layout sample of "The Layout Reservoir" (http://bluerobot.com/web/layouts/layout2.html). The layout works fine in Firefox where I do my test mostly. I just notice there are a couple of problems in IE 6.0: a page is wider than the width of the browser and the right column disappears.

Anyone out there have experienced the same problems and how to resolve them?

    Thanks.

IE sizes things incorrectly most of the time. Especially if you have it in quirks mode; which I suspect. Can't tell musch unless you post a link to the page or your code.
100% standards compliant code is 100% correct 100% of the time.
one of my toys from my repository and perhaps some help getting help

Thanks "COBOL Dinosaur" for your response.

The problem only occurs when there is a table or a form in the content section/region. Otherwise, there is no problem with text as the what the linked site is.

I do the development on my box, which can't be accessed directly from outside, so I can't show the page at this time.

I change the page layout using another set of CSS code. There are still a few of problems at IE, but less serious as the ones. I can live with this set of CSS layout at least for now.
