no nothing robust that will stop anyone with a brain from doing anything, but a simple google will let you know about the scammers trying to sell you something.

slicing up an image and faux-"animating" parts is used on lame art sites... but honestly... if you dont want it copped dont put it on the internet...

There are JS no-right-hand click scripts, however I can overcome them in a matter of seconds...

Yeah, I love when people think those do anything.
One button click and it's all gone. *poof*
    LOL

You can't keep people from stealing things off the 'net if the browser can see it. If the browser can see it, people can get it no matter what you do. You can only make it harder and weed out the stoopid. Anyone with half a brain and some halfway decent computer skills will figure out a workaround to anything at all you do. The others will give up. So, you can reduce theft, but you can't prevent it.

    / firefox is my friend...

If this post contains any code, I may or may not have tested it. It's probably just example code, so no getting knickers in a bunch over a typo, OK? If it doesn't have basic error checking in it, such as object detection or checking if objects are null before using them, put that in there. I'm giving examples, not typing up your whole app for you. You run code at your own risk.

It's like all this "html protection" crap...it's Javascript based so as soon as you disable JS (I use firefox's web developer toolbar) you can get straight at the code

i dont think there's a way to hide your source code, disabling "right click" wont do it for sure but if you really want to disable it here's a code: http://www.r2xdesign.net/viewcontent-39.html

I love that thing. I'd like to kiss whoever created it.

You can see all the form fields and even enable "disabled" fields. Change the form from get to post so you can see all the crap that's getting sent.
    Very cool.

    hiding code

if i want to hide code i usually use a server side include file for code, or better still a database or textstream(asp) object.

of course u can get software to uncover server side also
