    Lightbulb Is it possible...emulators question

    Just a quick question, ive never seen it done, so is it possible to have an emulator running on a web site?

    There are Z-code emulators for the web, so yes, there certainly exists the possibility. Z-code is one of the oldest virtual machine byte codes, and is probably easier to emulate than even a NES or C64 system (considering that even the C64 could run Z-code...). However with Flash, Shockwave or Java as your easy options, I don't think you'll find the performance to be good enough for anything that has been released after say 1990. When you need to get performance better than that, you need to write a custom plugin or ActiveX component, unless the emulator already exists in such a format.
