    alignment issue in Firefox

I realize that the HTML/CSS is a mess for this page, but can someone help me figure out why the news ticker and banner at the bottom of this page do not align properly in Firefox:

    Thank you.
    Regards, R.J.

just by looking at the page it looks like the right banner image is too wide, what happens if you adjust that? and just to point out some other facts, you are missing some elements in your page, and why so many classes? there isn't that much content, either way you are missing head tags, a doctype, a title tag, those things are crucial when it comes to getting a page to display how you want it, can't even run it through the validator because there is no character type

This is for an email newsletter, so I have to adjust the content to work in different mail applications....HTML emails don't generally use head and title tags (at least that's what I have learned), and in the actual email that is sent out, I have a doctype in there -- but the problem is still there...in any event, the default doctype for the page that you are viewing is HTML transitional, which is what i need.....

As far as the styles and much of the code: Much of this newsletter is cut and pasted from my distributor's web site, and it is impractical and inefficient to rewrite this code every month so it will validate.....

I'll check the banner width, but I think I tried that already....I can also try to eliminate some of the classes that I copied and pasted, but that is time consuming as well (and maybe not necessary)...most of them aren't even used, so they shouldn't affect the code, right?...

    Thanks.
    Regards, R.J.

code probably not but there could be some contradicting classes that you are aware of since its tough to go through that amount of data and process it correctly, but page size as far as in actual disk space is caused by the # of lines in a page so the fewer the better right?

Very true about the page size.....I've been working on cutting down the size of the email so it will load faster.....maybe removing some of the obvious excess code will do this....

Anyway, I fiddled with the width of the image, and it looks fine now for all practical purposes....

    Thanks for your input....
