    Question Table Shift in FF

    http://naturalchoicehealthcare.com

Take a look at the overall table of the main index of the above site? In IE it works fine and each subsequent page is always in the same vertical position. Now viewing that page on FF/Netscape/Mozilla, a few of the pages are shifted right 10px. You can really see it because of the menu. Go from the HOME to MEET THE OFFICE and you'll see the shift of the main table.

Any thoughts? I've been trying to figure it out for hours.

    More info.

I'm on a higher resolution and any page that doesn't have a scroll bar is off the 10px! How does one do relative positioning on a menu (etc) if the scrollbar will always shift the page 10px depending on the user's resolution? In IE, the scroll bar is always visible, thus no problems.

I'm not seeing any right-ward shift, but the page IS going DOWN, maybe 20px.

    I'm running 1024x768

PHP Tip: If you want to use short tags (<? or <?=$var) then make sure short_open_tag is set to "1". It really helps.

Thanks. I actually figured out that Mozilla and Netscape don't display the vertical scrollbar unless needed. That really screws up relative positioning. I added a workaround piece of code to always display a scroll bar and now all is good.

    Thanks for looking though!
