    RIP: Tables for text layout

    Hi Guys,
I just built a very simple html document that use tables for layout. eek:

    Here's the link

What would be the proper W3C way to emulate the layout of the text in the center cololmn using CSS? I'd like to read how you would approach it.

For now I plan on using the three column table to hold the center text. The left and right columns will hold banners, navigation and other elements.

Thanks in advance for you help / opinions.

PHP Tip: If you want to use short tags (<? or <?=$var) then make sure short_open_tag is set to "1". It really helps.
