    Question Opera, Firefox, Mozilla users.......

    Hello All!!

    .....long time, no see!

My friend just put-up a website, http://www.roselaine.com, and would like other browser user comments. We've checked IE6 & Netscape6(?--can't remember what version). Everything's pretty much okay---except there's some kind of little glitch with her tables, in Netscape (on the bracelet and watches pages, I think).

    1) Could I get some feedback on how they appear, in the aforementioned browsers.

    2) Anybody have any suggestions as to what is causing that little glitch (it's in the menu area)?

    Thanks, ahead of time!!

    Take care,

    TheTree

-wrong forums: see Site Reviews under General Web Building

-that page is not even close to valid HTML, so what's with the ugly W3 badge?

The mods are on it, this will probably be moved to the site review forum... and magnus is right, that logo is used to represent that the author is writing valid code without errors, there are many errors throughout the site, so the badge is worthless, and false advertising
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...selaine.com%2F

Are the errors. This is why the page is loading wrong (I see the menu shifts all over the place, and there are graphical errors and coding errors that move things around differently on all the pages), the code should be written without errors, then checked again.

    Evenin'!

    Thanks, much, for the responses.

]|V|[agnus: Yes, she knows about the browsers----I gave her the URLs (I think I actually got 'em off this site). She has a dial-up, and she said that "it" said it would take, like, TWO hours to download them (she was tryin' t'download two at a time). Anyway, I told her that people on here are always askin' for browser checks, and that I would post for her.

I checked the site, just now, and she's removed the validation thingy (I called her this morning------then emailed her this thread's URL).

bradyj: you said the menu shifts all over the place....

    does it finally end-up where it's s'pose t'be?

Also, what browser did you use?

You also said there were graphical errors---what, exactly, do you mean? Do you mean the "map" error that was on that URL you provided------or was there something else/more? (BTW, thanks, bushels, for that link!)

Anyone have any suggestions for why the table looks funny on those couple of pages?

    Thanks, again!
