    submit button

    I have the following code in HTML:
    <form name="TestForm" action="/cali/test.cgi" method="GET" target="_self">
    .....
    <p><input type="submit" value="process" ></p>
    </form>

    I would like process something defined in test.cgi when I press the button, but without changing the appearence of the webpage itself. That is, don't open a page saying "The page cannot be displayed".

    Thank you!

    but thats how forms work mate. when you click the submit button it goes to the page that you specified in the <form action="<x>" field.

    what you wouls have to do is style the test.cgi page so it looks like your original page - but i hardly see the point
