    Input accept attribute in Firefox

    According to MDN accept=[MIME type] is supported in Firefox. However, I tried the following to no avail:

    Code:
    <input type="file" accept="text/html">
    It doesn't filter the HTML files: demo.
    Is it a bug or am I missing something?

    One line of code give zero context. Without a link to the page there is no way to do diagnostics. there are all kinds of things that could be wrong from an invalid doctype to structural tagging erros in the markup, or simple typos.
    100% standards compliant code is 100% correct 100% of the time.
    one of my toys from my repository and perhaps some help getting help
