USER ACCOUNTS AND UPDATING INFO - oh my! Need help!

I just talked to a company and they stated that they wanted their website to be able to let a customer go on the site and check out where a package is. This entales many things. First, I need to be able to establish many user accoutns and a registration. Then, I need to make an interface so an everyday person can go in and input the data such as a worker of the company. Does this seem hard and has anyone had expierance doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I want go angsty for a reply anymore. I really appreciate the help of you guys, leading me into the right direction. Thanks in advance for help here too.

You are going to need a server side language (e.g. ASP, PHP, etc) and a database (e.g. Access, MsSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) for starters.

I dnot think the server will be a problem at all. Here is a list that it contains:

    500 MB disk space Python
    15 Gigabytes of bandwidth Java
IMAP, Pop3, SMTP, Web Mail PhpMyAdmin
CPanel E-Mail Manager Custom Error Pages
Exim E-Mail Virus Scanner Password Protected Directories
24/7 FTP Access 3 Online Stats Programs
SSH Access upon request Raw Log Access
Browser File Manager Unlimited Sub domains
    PHP Unlimited Databases
    MYSQL Unlimited E-Mail Addresses
    CGI Unlimited E-Mail Auto Responders
    Perl Unlimited E-Mail Forwarder
Image Magick Unlimited E-Mail Mailing Lists
    HTML Unlimited FTP Accounts
    SSI Unlimited Domain Add-Ons
    SSL Unlimited Domain Pointers
    XML Unlimited Domain Forwarders

Also, I am really looking for input on how I should do it and if anyone have any examples that I should look at to guide me. I have never programmed before so this is going to be a challenge. Any help will be greatly appreciated once again.

Yeah, it looks like you can use PHP and MySQL however if you have never used either, this is going to be a big challenge for you. You might want to search the PHP forum for links to tutorials on getting started.
