    Question When I migrated my site, the header/css no longer loads

    I just migrated my site to a new server, same config, same folder structure, but now the header which contains the menu with some css in it will not load anymore. Please help!!!!

    the site is Early-Stage Investments | Funding by VoiVoda. You can see the source there and give some feedback. I will be available for a quick skype if someone needs to see the ftp files through a share screen. Please help. 2 or 3 people tried but no luck, but none are html experts.

    Looks more like an asp issue since you have <!--#include virtual="headerHome.html" --> in the code and it isn't loading. Check path to the file again.
    Hit me up for cheap but quality html/css conversions/rebuilds. Ok, let me see what you've got

    The file headerhome.html exists in the same folder. Any other suggestions as the target is correct

    In the console I am seeing:

    Code:
    ReferenceError: MM_preloadImages is not defined
    This appears to be a JavaScript error. Is this part of your menu system?

    It's being called here:

    Code:
    	<body onLoad="MM_preloadImages('img/logoFooterPromojamOver.png','img/logoFooterVidcasterOver.png','img/logoFooterClimate_over.png','img/logoFooterPlanana_over.png','img/footer_xform_over.png','img/logoFooterMessanger_over.png','img/logoFooterScopix_over.png','img/logoFooterPartners_over.png','images/logoFooterVal_over.png','img/logoFooterHandster_over.png','img/logoFooterPinevio_over.png','img/logoFooterCloudBasic_over.png')">
    Do you happen to know which JS file defines that function? I would make sure your paths are setup properly.

    that is actually the footer which also is not loading. it contains a scrolling bar with images. I assume its the same issue as the header not loading. I kept the path structure identical when I migrated, thus paths should be right. If anyone wnats to try to help me w this through remote desktop share, PM me

    You said you changed servers. Is the new server using IIS or is it using Apache? And are you using Dreamweaver for any of this??

    If you're using IIS now change the code to this:
    Code:
    <!--#include file="headerHome.html" -->
    Give that a try and see what happens.

    I tried that, It did not work. This is hosted on register.com windows server. I chose windows as the old server was windows. I assume this is IIS. Anyhow, did not load the header.

    Hmm. In that case I'm willing to bet this new server of yours has not been configured to enable SSI(Server Side Includes). Either call your host provider and ask them to enable that or you're just going to have to find some other way to avoid using them. Perhaps using JQuery via something like:

    Code:
    $("#header").load("headerHome.html");
    Or some other method.
