    Arrow Problem with lightbox viewer

    On this website, clicking on the image brings up a lightbox view of the image:

    http://www.ianstuart-bride.com/dress/broadway/

    It darkens the main panel on the right, while keeping the navbar normal.

    Now on this second site it's a bit messed up, with the navbar only darkened in some areas:

    http://www.ianstuart-london.com/dress/isl352-isl366/

    What do I need to change to make the second site act as the first one?

    But preferably, how do I make both sites make the whole page dark, including the navbar (bit obviously not the lightbox)?

    Thanks

    Hello jason404,
    Your #branding has a z-index of 2000 where the lightbox's #TB_overlay only has a value of 510.
    Try changing the stacking order like this -
    Code:
    header[role="banner"] {
        background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgb(220, 220, 220);
        box-shadow: 1px 1px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
        float: left;
        height: 100%;
        left: 0;
        max-width: 402px;
        padding-left: 2%;
        position: absolute;
        top: 0;
        width: 25%;
        z-index: 400;
    }

    Excellent. Thanks a lot for your help Excavator.

    I'll show my client the difference and then change it and then invalidate the current CSS file in the CDN.

    Thanks again, I have now made the changes and invalidated the old CSS files in the CDN.

    Right on, glad you got it sorted out.

    Some interesting reading on stacking order here.
