    Gap below image

    I have a DIV with two images in it. For some reason, there is a gap bellow the images and an invisible hyperlink within the gap. I removed the hyperlink, but the gap is still there. Does anyone know whats going on?

    Code:
    			div.selector {
    				background-color: blue;
    				left: 50%;
    				margin-left: 8px;
    				margin-top: -27px;
    				position: absolute;
    				top: 50%
    			}
    			img.mens {
    				margin-left: 19px
    			}
    Code:
    <DIV class="selector">
    				<A href="/products/womens/"><IMG alt="" src="womens.png"></A>
    				<A href="/products/mens/"><IMG alt="" class="mens" src="mens.png"></A>
    			</DIV>

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. That article is very long and I don't have time to read it, and don't even know what I am suppose to be looking at.

    I'm just looking for a simple fix. Do you know how it can be fixed?

    Simplest and least intrusive solution:
    Code:
    img {vertical-align: middle;}
