    http://pyrachip.com/

    im using css

    #footer a:link {color:white; text-decoration:none;}
    #footer a:hover {colorrange; text-decoration:underline;}
    #footer a:visited {color:white; text-decoration:none;}

    and html

    <td id="footer"> <a href="/">Home</a> | <a href="aboutus.html">About Us</a> | <a href="#">Services</a> | <a href="#">Clients</a> | <a href="#">Contact Us</a> </td>

    Hello dopamine,
    It does change the link I have not visited to orange, once I visit them then they stay white.

    It needs to be link, visted, hover, active. When ordering the CSS for :link pseudo-class you must remember the LoVeHAte rule. If you re-order you CSS to look like this it will work:
    Code:
    It can be grouped too, like this:

    Code:
    #footer a:link, #footer a:visited {color:white; text-decoration:none;}
    #footer a:hover, #footer a:active {color:orange; text-decoration:underline;}
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
