    web check needed

    Could someone check my new site, in my firefox browser the main menu rides over the top header. In IE etc. seems to work fine. http://image-hosting.skipdrive.com/

    also when I first load it not images load I have to click "go" a second time for them to load for some reason...just want to know if that happens in anyone elses browser.
    Thanks in advance...

    Hello c1lonewolf,
    Your .header is set to 100px high but you have skipdrive_logo-100.jpg, which is 100px high PLUS 20px margin.

    Try removing that height like this -
    Code:
    div.header {
        background: url("backgrounds/bg.header.1.jpg") #000000;
        clear: both;
        /*height: 100px;*/
        position: relative;
        text-align: right;
    }
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    Thanks for the help Excavator that did the trick...I work mostly with percentages so guaging things is a lil' off at times. And thanks for the box model links on my previous question should help a lot.
