    How to split a css container

    Hi all,

    Thank you for viewing this thread.

    I downloaded a template from the internet and I'm trying to edit it using dreamweaver since I have very little knowledge with coding.

    I'm trying to create a template page (.dwt) but the header and banner is a single container. Any idea how can I split the top navigator and the banner.

    I have attached the css file.

    Thanks again

    Im not sure what you mean. But you can split it by creating 2 divs inside it. for example:

    <div id="header">
    <div id="first_part"></div>
    <div id="second_part"></div>
    </div>

    and apply some style like:
    #first_part {
    display:inline-block;
    clear:both;
    }
