getting rid of annoying click sound

how do i get rid of the annoying click sound when ever i click on a link? i dont want to turn off the sound and i want it to work on all webpages(so not just a setting in my computer)

I am using a swish animation with a few rollovers and sound but now ever time i rollover it i hear a big click noise which drowns the sound out.

    Plz help

    Thanks

Get a better browser that does not do that, Firebird for example

Sorry, that sound is built into the application. However, Vladdy (although a bit rough around the edges) is right. Mozilla Firebird is a better browser.

    Control panel > sounds >

Under Windows Explorer go to Start Navigation and change the sound to None, click on Ok

That's the only way you can stop the sound and you can only do it on your own pc
