    Customizing Windows

    When a user clicks a certain link I would like a window to pop up that would have no buttons or address bar in it. Also I would like to customize the window size (height, width). Any ideas how I would approach this?

    Thanks,

    In the page you want to launch the popup from:

    <html>
    <head>
    <title> launch popup </title>
    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--
    function dopopup(url)
    {
    var chrome= "width=377,"
    + "height=483,"
    + "location=0,"
    + "menubar=0,"
    + "resizable=0,"
    + "scrollbars=0,"
    + "status=0,"
    + "titlebar=0,"
    + "toolbar=0,"
    + "hotkeys=0,"
    + "left=100,"
    + "top=100";
    x=window.open(url,null,chrome);
    x.parent.document.title="Anything you want";
    }
    //-->
    </script>
    </head>
    <body>
    <a href="#" onClick"dopopup("mynewpage.htm");x.focus();">

    </body>
    </html>
    100% standards compliant code is 100% correct 100% of the time.
    one of my toys from my repository and perhaps some help getting help
