    Dreamweaver and CSS

    hi!
    i have a page with alot of styles but not in the form of one style page or even in the actual page (e.g. <-- style... -->...
    is it possible to press something or something that will take all my styles etc. and turn them into one style section or even a *.css using DREAMWEAVER MX 2004 ?

    I don't think so, you'll have to do it manually... But then again, I don't even own it...I looked on it's features and through online support stuff and didn't see anything though.

    To accomplish the task of making your CSS external, you have to highlight everything between the <style></style> tags and copy it to an empty text file. Save that text file with a .css extension. Then use the <link> tag in the <head> section to refer to the external CSS file. From then on, when you open the the main page in Dreamweaver and make any style changes, Dreamweaver will update the CSS file for you. I read about this on an article I found at Dreamweaver's web site.
