    Question Pointer/location on map on website

    I wanted to add a map to my website. I found this easy tutorial below.
    https://developers.google.com/maps/t...g-a-google-map

    It worked perfectly until I realised the location I had specified in the coordinates merely centres the map, there is no actual cursor.

    I googled a bit but I couldn't find a way to add one which was successful. Has anybody done this?

    Thanks.

    Do you have this
    <script src="http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false"></script>
    if so change false to true.
    Do you have an address with google maps? If so you can copy and paste the code from there.

    Try out the below code, i have used it in one of my application:
    <map id="vote_buttons" name="vote_buttons">
    <area href="#" shape="rect" alt="" coords="5,3,78,43" onClick="window.location='http://www.site.com/page.php?vote=Y'" style="cursor:default;" title="" />
    <area href="#" shape="rect" alt="" coords="83,3,160,44" onClick="window.location='http://www.site.com/page.php?vote=N'" style="cursorointer;" title="" />
    </map>

    Hope this helps.
