    Question Is there an easier css way to add a vertical divider line between my NAV links?

    I want to add an "|" or a "border-right" between my top navigation links (not the sub-menus) . Ive had nothing but issues every time I try to add it.

    Code:
    #topNav nav li.folder {
        /*height: 42px;*/
    }
    #topNav nav li {
        border-right: 1px solid red;
        float: left;
        height: 42px;
        margin-right: 0;
        position: relative;
    }
    #topNav nav li:last-child{border-right:none;}

    Is there a way to make it the height of the letters? I tried changing the height, and it messed up other spacing.
