aside div overlaps over footer in IE7

    Hi everybody,

I'm having problems with IE7, as I add text to content div it pushes footer div down, but aside is overlapping it. I think you'll understand what I mean from the image I attached. So how do I make aside div push the footer div also?

    Don't kill yourself over IE7 http://theie7countdown.com/
It's dead. It just doesn't know it.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this, but I still see a lot of designers fixing their work because of IE7. Should I just abandon this problem and keep coding?

    I would. And I'd leave IE6 alone.
And personally if it looked ok in IE8/9 I would leave things alone and not try to make it look like FF or chrome. Close would be good enough for me.

My employer is still using IE7, but I agree with you entirely. IE7 is way too old and needs to go. Thanks again for the advice, I'll do just that.
