Notification Alert HTML
Hope you can help me out here, this notification alert pops up when a member get a notification as (seen in the attachment) - it's the little red bubble. When certain numbers are present, it seems the numbers are not center and correct looking - see how the "3" is sort of running out of the bubble? Here is the code below - how can I make the bubble longer to fit the numbers in properly I this code.
Thanks in advance!
<div><span id="notifications"><a href="usercp.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[your_notifications]</a> <div style="background-color: red; display:inline; border-radius: 3px;"><span style="color: white;"><strong> $notifications_total </strong></span></div></span></div>
They haven't given any size to any of the elements, the span you can't give size to, but the containing divs you can. Pretty sloppy coding if you ask me, try giving a width and height to the outermost div.
I tried your recommendation - no go. Is there a suggestion for cleaning it up or any other recommendation for making the height slightly longer?

That was what I thought I was suggesting. Give the containing div an ID, and use css.
