    issues with IE CSS

    I have a page that works fine in Firefox and Chrome, but the CSS doesnt want to work in IE for the hover effect on the images. The page is here
    appnotised.com.au/testing/

    and CSS used is
    Code:
    .img-container img {
    display:inline-block;
    width:200px; /* or whatever you want*/
    height:113px; /* same as above */
    }

    .imagefade {
        position: relative;
        padding: 2;
        width:200px;
        display:block;
        float:left;

    }
    .imagetext {
        position: absolute;
        top: 2;
        color:#fff;
        background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
        width: 200px;
        height: 113px;
        line-height:120px;
        text-align: center;
        z-index: 1;
        opacity: 0;
        -webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease;
        -moz-transition: all 0.5s ease;
        -o-transition: all 0.5s ease;
        transition: all 0.5s ease;
    }
    .imagetext:hover {
        opacity:1;
    }
    }

    img {
        z-index:1;
    }
    Can anyone help with the code to make it work in IE ?

    Thanks

    In which version of IE? Older versions of IE such as version 9 do not support all of the latest CSS commands the way that modern browsers do.

    Don't forget to start your JavaScript code with "use strict"; which makes it easier to find errors in your code.

    i tested on IE9 and IE10 and they both just show static information, so i dont think the hover problem is version related.
