    in the portfolio section I could not complete the left block and could not manage the contents properly. This is because of my small experience. Please view the attached image as reference. There is a small image and some content with one more button. Please help me how can I code this portion.

    You say you need help with the "portfolio section". There is nothing labeled "portfolio section".

    But look at this:

    Code:
    <div style="width:960px;" class="description"><h3>Welcome to our site</h3><br />

    Hello

    sunfighter

    Sorry, I mean to say at the "portfolio" page.. Sorry for this one. In that page there is a right side image and one left side placeholder, in which I like to place some image and text. I tried but they are not aligned properly so I seek help from all of you. However thanks for the help and I will again try with your code. Thanks.

    The left side placeholder has a width of 420px; and I am using the below code, but it is not worked as I need it.

    HTML CODE

    Code:
    <div class="left">

    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four"><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>

    </div>
    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four" ><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>
    </div>
    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four"><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>
    </div>

    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four"><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>

    </div>
    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four" ><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>
    </div>
    <div class="logo_portfolio">
    <img src="image/portfolio_four.jpg" alt="four"><p> Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here. Dummy text here<a href="contact.php">More.....</a></p>
    </div>

    </div>   <!-- ends left ---->
    AND HERE IS THE CSS CODE

    Code:
    .left{
    width:420px;
    height:562px;
    float:left;

    margin-top:20px;
    background-color:#FFFFFF;
    -moz-box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;
    -webkit-box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;
    box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;

    }

    .logo_portfolio img{
    width:60px;
    padding:5px 15px;;

    float:left;

    }

    .logo_portfolio p{
    float:right;
    margin-right:10px;

    width:250px;

    }
    You can view the result here , just click on the portfolio tab to view the respective page.

    http://www.flashybee.com/flashybeeportfolio/sound

    The images and the text are not aligned properly. First three image and text are ok but the fourth is not in the right place. Here is the code I am using ( I tried to keep the image and the text portion separate giving them the width so that I can control them separately, may be that is the reason for this problem)

    Thanks for responding .

    Code:
    .nav{
    	width:100%;
    	height:50px;
    	background:#fff;
    	-moz-box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;
    	-webkit-box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;
    	box-shadow:0 0 8px #666;
    	-moz-border-radius-bottomleft: 50px;
    	border-bottom-left-radius: 50px;
    	border-top-right-radius: 50px;
    }

    Hi,

    i haven't taken a look at your CSS code but i believe if your issue deals with the box-shadow, whether IE will work will depend on which IE version you are looking at. i believe IE9 and above the box shadow will work...but below that you may have to do some work arounds in order to get the effect you are looking for.

    i don't know if this site will help but take a look and see if this will give you what you are looking for:
