    How can I modify my form text?

    Currently Im using the below css for all of my text. However it is changing my form text on my blog (which I don't want it to do.) How can i set a new style for this blog-sidebar-form. I just want to center the text and make it bold, etc.

    http://jeffreydowellphotography.com/blog/

    p { font-family: "HelveticaNeue-Regular", "Helvetica Neue Regular", ``"Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: 300;
    max-width: 550px;
    color: #4d4d4d;
    text-align: left;
    line-height: 175%;
    letter-spacing: 1px;
    word-spacing: 0px;
    margin-top: 20px;
    }

    You mean the “subscribe to my blog” form? You have a lot of distinctive elements there that can serve as CSS selectors. But ideally you would change the elements in the form from <p> to <div> because that’s semantically more correct (you don’t have actual paragaphs of text there, it’s just a few words), and then the text wouldn’t be affected by the global paragraph style.

    Alternatively, if you decide to not follow my previous suggestion, if you just want to affect the form then #sidebar form p {…} would also do it (it would affect all form in the sidebar, though, now and in future).

    I added it back in. Sorry. I was trying text only links and was having bad luck.

    And what’s the problem now? I see Helvetica Neue in 600 weight (actually the numerical equivalent to the “bold” keyword is 700 but Firefox rounds it up, don’t know about other browsers, though).

    I now have two subscription pieces, the email one and the RSS one. I'm trying to get one border and background around this sidebar, center the text and input field, and chance the RSS text to the Helvetica 600 weight.
