    On my page I don't use colored cells so I don't have that problem... but... I just found that on PC browsers my website looks fine and on tablet (we have an iPad 4th gen) it behave weirdly when we zoom in.

    I think I will have to start another thread if I want someone to look into this.
    Webkit browsers had (maybe still have?) a bug with zoom that might be related to what you're seeing:

    According to that article, changing your media query to "em" units rather than "px" units could solve the problem. I don't own or have access to an iPad, so I'll admit that I am not at all up to speed on that aspect or if it is still an issue with webkit at all, but it's at least one place to look.

    It's usually a good idea to start out with this at the VERY TOP of your CSS: * {border:0;margin:0;padding:0;}

    A bit later than expected but there it is if you wanted to see it working. Play with the browser window size to see things move around and such.

    I hope this topic discussion will serve others looking to achieve something similar.
