    Cool Validation

I want to know how to fix the validation problem, the green effect isn't meant to show until the user has typed in data for which it should validate, what's the best way to get this working?

PHP Tip: If you want to use short tags (<? or <?=$var) then make sure short_open_tag is set to "1". It really helps.
