    checking websites' html and css?

I've come across a website with a background colour, font and layout that I like. I'd like to know which color and font it uses and copy its layout. How can I find out its html and css?

    Many thanks!

From within your browser if you right-click you get a menu, somewhere on there should be an option to view source (click on empty area, not over image). That will show html, from there you can look for where the css file is.

Also, most browsers have a built-in developer console with code inspector where you can find out exactly which styles are applied to which element(s).
