    Beginner need help with CSS for GridView Footer Row

    I have a grid that has an row that is for inserting new records when there is no data currently in the database, and or same for when there is a row in the database. The problem is the footer row looks messed can't seem to get it to look right can someone help me please. Below is the CSS I am using, and picture of the problem.
