    Text not clickable

    Hey guys I am new here, this seems like a very helpful place.

    I am facing a conundrum. I am making this site (www.delosfuegos.com/72u) and I cannot for the life of me find out why I cannot click on the links on the bottom of the page (contact details).

    Can somebody help me out. I'm applying for some sort of job school thingy and ease of contacting me is quite important.

    THANKS!

    Michael

    Hello hazpazfaz,
    The easiest way to show you is to have you add a background color to .byebye , you'll see you've absolutely positioned your anchors under that div element.

    To get the stacking order sorted out, add some z-index to the article containing your anchors -
    Code:
    #theend article {
        position: absolute;
        text-align: center;
        top: 300px;
        width: 100%;
        z-index: 1;
    }
    See more about z-index here.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    Thank you! Nail on the head. I'll now be reading up on z-index as well. Thanks!
