    bind external file into html

    Hi,

I want to bind an external file containing a long table into my html site, like you can embed a css file into it so that the table just shows up in the browser when loading the page.

With a CSS file I use:

    Code:
    <link href="http:...file.css" rel="stylesheet"></link>
But how can you bind a file into it containing a table?

    The table is like:

    Code:
    <table>...</table>

The safest and most elegant solution would be to use server side includes (SSI) or equivalents in other languages like PHP.

If that’s not an option then the object element might come in handy:
    Code:
    <object type="text/html" data="table.html"></object>
And as last resort you can use inline frames (a. k. a. “iframes”).

can you do a ssi when the file to include is on a different as the webpage?

My site is hosted by godaddy and mapped to google blogger. I can upload files to google-code. I do this a lot with files.css and it works.

So is there a way I could include some html somehow?

    maybe with asp?
