    Need help positioning elements in an Opt-In form in a word press widget

    I hope this makes sense, as I'm not a programmer, but just someone who's been googling a lot and learning along the way...

    What I'm trying to do is position the email box in an opt-in form and this is what I've done so far and the results:

    what I have in the widget:

    <div class="optinform">
    <div align="right">
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://app.getresponse.com/view_webform.js?wid=######">
    </script>
    </div></div>

    what I have in my style.css:

    .optinform {
    background: url(http://website.com/wp-content/upload.../12/optin2.png) no-repeat;
    height: 262px;
    width: 430px;
    color: #ffffff;
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: bold;
    }

    And this is the result:

    I want to find a way to get the email input box down below the arrows...

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks,
    George

    I don't see a div that contains the email: box or the submit button unless they're generated by the js, but I'd use padding-top: on it to force the contents toward the bottom.

    I believe those are in the js. What code exactly would you put in padding-top: ?
    I really don't know how to come up with code myself, I cut and paste based on searches I've done. Can you tell me what code to put and where?

    First, I think you should stop cutting and pasting and learn how to code. Learn HTML and CSS for starters. You are lost at a very easy place and the road is only going to get harder. HTML http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp Then here http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_intro.asp
    CSS http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp then here http://www.w3schools.com/css3/default.asp

    For the answer to your last question look here http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_padding.asp

    Thanks for your concern. I'm not a coder, I think I mentioned that in the OP. I'm building this site for my wife as a DYI. I only need to learn exactly what code I'm missing in order to get the desired effect. Can you help with that specifically?

    I've tried adding padding in the past, but the problem is that it moves the whole widget section down and ruins the layout of the home page. I've built this in WP and am using widgets to position the opt-in box.
